Hello and Welcome Mamas and Birth Parents!

My name is Nicole Obenshine, a wife, Mama of one, a Survivor, a Chief Transformation Officer and thriving human.

Postpartum to Powerful is a “For Profit For Purpose” corporation whose mission support Mothers/Birth Parents with PMADs, raise awareness and create resources for the maternal community.

The greatest gift you can give yourself as a new mom/birth parent is Joy, Peace and Confidence. Which is why the Support Programs are Long Term, Offered in Groups, and have components in various areas. I highly recommend these options for Mothers/Birth Parents, however I do offer Individual Programs and Heal As You Go Session Packages.

I have been on my own personal journey of Empowerment, Healing, and Mindfulness for a little over 11 years. Shortly after the birth of my son, I went through the darkest time of my life. My practices helped but I needed more. I spoke up- received treatment and made the decision to keep fighting.

Now I want to guide other Moms/Birth Parents through the 3 Main Components of Recovery: Treatment, Therapeutic Remedies, and Social Support.

I am not a Medical Practitioner but have resources around the country to get Mothers/Birth Parents the help they need.

*My programs can be done completely virtual therefore my support extends to anywhere in the world with internet access.

It is a practice that I have to work at each day, and by making small changes, I have found a big impact.

I was diagnosed with Postpartum OCD which is on the Postpartum Anxiety Spectrum and had severe symptoms that included panic attacks, fear of being alone, and frightening thoughts and visions of myself and my son.

I was supported and loved through this time of new parenthood, and now I am thriving. My journey has led me to help other Mamas/Birth Parents that have also gone through a PMAD, came out the other side and are making the choice to Thrive in Parenthood and Life.

I also want to spread awareness to the Maternal Community so that no mother feels embarrassed or shamed about her feelings during postpartum and seek the help and support they need.

PMADs do not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, social class, height, age, weight, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, political views, parenting styles, or marital status. AND NEITHER DO I!! I welcome any Mama/Birth Parent to join this community of support and transformation!

For my 30th Birthday, I will be leading a Climb Out of the Darkness Event in Ocean County New Jersey to support the local maternal community and bring awareness to families in our area. All proceeds from the event go to the PSI NJ Chapter to build resources close to home. I am also the Membership Chair if you need any resources or have questions. Thank you in advance for any support 🙂

If you are local to Ocean County, NJ- I would love to connect in person at one of my Local Events. View the schedule here. I hold Monthly Mama/Birth Parent Circles plus a variety of Workshops.

I have found to love all of me, flaws included, I am both a masterpiece and a work in progress. I strive to be present, not perfect.

Please know that you are worth a life you enjoy!

I am currently building a Support Network of Parent Centered Professionals who are located across the United States to provide Full Circle Support in all facets of Parenthood to ensure we rise together.
